As a director constantly auditioning actors, it is clear that auditioning is a very different animal than performing.  Some actors may let the audition situation get the best of them- when it is most critical to be relaxed, spontaneous, and available.

We will work together to bring out your specific point of view to keep your work in your songs and monologues alive and spontaneous!     I will help you find ways to stay grounded and manage the stress of the audition world while finding material that you enjoy.   You will leave with a strategy for the audition battlefield.

Stephen’s work has been seen in the US at such theatres as the Goodspeed Opera House (Festival), Olney Theatre,  New Rep, North Carolina Theatre, Gateway Playhouse, Tri-arts as well as internationally.

Stephen has been on the arts faculty of Professional Performing Arts HS, and has taught master classes for The Signature Theatre in VA, AMDA, Showtix, Capital Playhouse, TriArts.
